Each spoon is hand-carved from sustainably sourced Ankole-Watusi cattle horn, a recycled byproduct of the food industry in Uganda that supports local cattle-keeping communities.
Created by a Fair Trade artisan cooperative, each piece is polished according to traditional Maadili designs, resulting in a functional work of art. Natural variations in color ensure that no two spoons are alike, ranging from soft ivory to deep brown and black.
